Premier has partnered with ITransact to offer a suite
of services allows you to accept secure payments from
your customers--24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
There are two parts to accepting credit cards.
First, is the Merchant Account which you must have to
accept credit cards period. Second, is a gateway
service which allows you to process credit card
approvals in real time directly through your web site.
If you currently have a merchant account service than
you only need to order the gateway service to give you
the ability of real-time online credit card
processing.
Merchant Accounts:
A merchant account is required to accept credit
cards using our service. If you currently have a
merchant account service you are all set and only
need to order our gateway service. If you do not
currently accept credit cards or are looking for
better rates than you are currently paying you can
also sign up for a merchant account at the same time
you order your gateway service.
Gateway Service:
A gateway service allows you to accept, verify,
authorize, and process credit card payments online
in real-time. Use your web site and/or our Virtual
Terminal.
How Does The Process Works?
- After your customers have selected the items
they wish to purchase, and the subtotals and totals
have been calculated, the shopping cart software
your site uses will place the order details on the
order form on your Web site.
- When completed by your customer, the order form
is submitted via SSL (Secure Server) to the Gateway
service for sale processing.
- NOTE: Our gateway comes with a Virtual Terminal.
If your using that instead of steps (1 and 2) then
you are entering the purchase online. The rest of
the process from here on is the same.
- Your customer receives the status of the order.
- An Order Confirmation Email is sent to both the
merchant and the customer, with the sale details and
Gateway Service transaction number.
- An Order Status Email (Approved/Declined etc...)
is sent to both the merchant and customer.
- Your customer will receive a charge on his
credit card statement and you will receive the funds
in your business banking account within 2 to 3
business days.
In addition to the information in the Order
Confirmation Email, Gateway Service merchants are able
to access transaction details in real-time via the
Gateway Service Secure Transaction Reporting System.
NOTE: We reserve the right to refuse service for
any reason based on our sole discretion
